DIA BESAR, AKU KECIL
A : Hey girl, how's your wedding prep?
Me : So far okay la..but I still got a lot of things to do.
A : U ambil bridal house mana ye? Baju tempah kat siapa?
Me : Owh, I ambil kat Butik M, full package dengan dia..Baju pun belum fitting lagi.
A : U nak tau, time I kawen dulu, I ambil full package kat Butik Q. Glamour tau butik tu. Selalu masuk paper and mags. Kalau masuk any competition pasal wedding2 nih, butik ni yang menang tau!
Me : Ye ke? Kat Kuantan ni ada ke butik yang glam macam tu. Tak pernah dengar pun.
A : I berhabis RM$$k tau..duit I sendiri semuanya..Nasib baik I banyak duit. I kan buat bisnes. Eh you belanja kawen ni guna duit siapa?
Me : (dalam hati, perlu ke tanya soalan cmni??) Ada la duit saving sikit2..Wedding I biasa2 je. Buat sekadar yang mampu.
A : Lepas kawen, U duduk mana? Pindah Kl la ye? Mampu ke laki U nak belikan rumah? Gaji dia berapa? Tup2 lepas kawen nanti U terus pregnant, mampu ke nak tanggung anak pulak?
So, this is a piece of dialogue between A and me. It goes daily. Up to one point, nak je I slap dia ni. But, I dah faham sangat dengan perangai keCAKAPBESARannya tu. Bukan I sorang yang jadi mangsa, colleagues lain pun selalu kena sampai tahap malas nak layan. Angguk je la or kalau rajin kami buat muka takjub. Wow hebatnya you ni A! I rasa you ni paling kaya la kat Kuantan ni.
Sometimes, I wonder, apa yang best sangat cakap besar ni? Like A, we know each other pretty well, oh, dia bukanlah anak orang kaya. Orang kampung je okay! Rumah pun biasa2 and of course not in the elite housing area. Kereta pun dah kemek2. Her outfit? Her handbag? Her shoes? Tak pernah rasanya tengok dia pakai Christian Louboutin, Dior, Marc Jacobs, LV etc..paling hebat pun Guess je kot. Itu pun jenama mampu milik.
For me instead, even though I have a small car or a small house; it really doesn't matter. Maybe belum ada rezeki lagi macam orang lain. Insya Allah with faith and effort, akan tercapai jugak impian yang BESAR tu. Tak perlu lah nak cakap besar and merendah-rendahkan orang lain. Rezeki kita pun pinjaman dari-Nya. Kalau Tuhan nak tarik, sekelip mata je. Betul tak A? Hehe..

THE PROPOSAL
1-1-11
That is my date for 'official' proposal. Actually, we didn't plan much for the majlis merisik, it went smoothly even though it happened all in a sudden. His family je yang datang and only my parent, my sister's family and me yang entertained them.
So far so good but it just me who spoiled the day! It really didn't cross my mind when I need to serve them macam org dolu2, tuang air and all sorts of kerja2 perempuan melayu terakhir. Oh I never do this sort of thing. Masa tu, I felt like switching the environment into black and white..really dolu2!
And poor me, when tuang the air, tumpah merata2..Urm of course jadi bahan ketawalah masa tu. So stressful when handling the jug. And yes, until now I blame the jug because not doing good with me. But during lunch time, jug tu pecah because of too hot water poured into it..macam luluhawa kot..haha padan muka kau jug murahan!
Alhamdulillah, the day went well, food pun delicious. My sis yang masak ok, not me! And I'm glad that my mom told my future-MIL yang I don't know how to cook, so senang, nanti tak perlu malu2 beritahu sendiri heh =D

GUEST BOOK
Having a guest book maybe a new trend for Malay wedding. It is hard to find in store, but I pernah jumpa di Lovely Lace and Russ tapi not much choices. Once I dah jumpa the guest book the other day, I terus grab. Orang tamak memang macam tu. Tapi satisfied lah, because it's white, fit with my English concept for the table deco and ada beads and ribbons. Cute and I love it =)
But, there are some bloggers yang take this opportunity to spread their business. Yeah, by selling their DIY guest books. Cantik-cantik jugak and the best thing is boleh choose ikut your wedding theme.

GUESTBOOK TABLE DECO
This would be one of my fav parts for my wedding, having a guestbook table. Too many ideas lingering in my mind, nak buat itu and ini but I need to choose the perfect one. Maybe combination from all the ideas akan jadi yang terbaik.
I want something in English concept, which I prefer white color for decorations. I've already bought artificial roses and some lanterns but the table itself belum ada lagi. I thought of using anything yang ada at my home as the table but unfortunately I couldn't find one. Ada yang rendah sangat, ada yang tinggi sangat and ada yang too big or too small. I have less than 2 months untuk cari the table. Hopefully I will not end up buying it. Cheapskate eh =)
Now, dah jadi trend having a banner or bunting for wedding ceremony. Honestly, I really don't like the idea at all apatah lagi if the bride and groom put their pictures on it. Dah macam banner pilihanraya. If ada banner sekalipun, I prefer one with very simple words and colors and design. Less is more! But, it is from my opinion, others mesti suka je sebab ramai yang apply kan. And actually, most wedding card package comes with the free banner. So, why not if we having one, right? Tapi, I won't hang it for my side. Bagi belah lelaki je. And yes, the banner is the plain one, I don't actually choose the design. Semuanya serahkan pihak lelaki yang buat.
Instead of banner, I will use a poster. Dah tempah and dah dapat pun. Agak regret with the outcome. Frust sangat and dah swear tak kan gunakan khidmat kedai printing itu lagi. It costs me a bomb but nampak macam dua or tiga ringgit je. Just wait and see =(
